Over the past few years, I have been blessed multiple times with the opportunity to travel to Asia to do service there for short period of time. Each trip has grown me and been an amazing opportunity to be God’s hands and feet serving the people there. About a year ago I felt God calling me to serve there again, this time for a longer period. This summer (2013) I will be moving to Asia to teach English and do other various services as I work with a family there that I met on previous trips. So far it looks like God’s plan will be to live there for a year and decide after that point whether to stay longer or not.
I have been so blessed to see God’s hand moving in the preparations of this next step in my life. He has been faithful in every area from finances to scheduling to prayers being continually answered. I know through and through that this is exactly His plan for me and I am greatly excited to see what He has in store for the future. If He has been this faithful just during the preparation time, I can only imagine what is coming when I will get the opportunity to love on His people over in Asia.
I would be thrilled to have you as part of this journey; whether that be praying, giving financially, or supporting in some other way. If you are reading this, you are already supporting in some way and I thank you so much for the care you have already given. So, please read below for some of the specific needs I still have at this time and let us all praise God for His unfailing faithfulness and love.
Last Update from Jackie Ross:
2013 has been a year filled with a lot of behind the scenes work. I began the year out helping Geraldo Bragah with the pioneering of a church planting school in Burtigny, Switzerland. I have been assisting Geraldo with very practical things that I can do right here in Elko via the internet. The Church Planting Schools focus is unreached people groups and will begin September 2013 with an outreach to follow in an African country that is 54% Islamic.. The The website is:: http://ywamburtigny.com/schools/scpl/
I have been mentoring Kris Lahti who is involved with International Students Ministries in Reno, Nevada. If you are interested in seeing what Kris is busy with you can check out her websites: Website: www.isionline.org/Home/KrisLahti.aspx

I have also been mentoring John Ennin. John is from Ghana and has taken a leap of faith and is serving God in Europe. I have been helping John with the ins and outs of fundraising. I think every missionary's least favorite thing to do to is fundraising.
I continue to lead an Aglow Bible Study on Thursday afternoon, although we are off for the summer and will resume again in September. I also continue to do counseling and discipling here in Elko. I am so amazed at the number of people God brings into my life who are battered from the storms of life.
The best part of 2013: On July 11, Michael asked the question and I said yes! That's right we’re engaged and preparing for a wedding this October in Polson, Montana!
Thank-you so much for your past support. I no longer need monetary support, but would appreciate your continued prayers.
Love in Christ, Jackie
